As one of our PR Managers, you will not work alone. You will have a whole bunch of smart, dedicated and creative people to team up with on your mission to strengthen Oatly’s brand awareness across key European markets such as Norway, Denmark, Spain and Benelux. You will work to set the PR strategic ambition and ensure that is implemented in the markets under your remit. You will also make sure that Oatly is driving the debate within sustainability and nutrition in your key markets, in keeping with the Oatly voice.
In this role, you will report into the PR Team Lead for EMEA
HERE'S WHAT YOU WILL DO
You will develop and implement best in class PR initiatives in your markets. That’s not a one person job but you will lead the way and work with some other great people at Oatly
You will demonstrate a proactive mindset and will always look for opportunities for Oatly to drive the plant-based movement through PR. At the same time, you will stay on your toes and be ready to lead reactively if there is a crisis situation
You will be the PR expert on your markets, always keeping an eye on what the media is writing about us, our competitors or other Oatly related topics
You will support Oatly’s spokespersons when preparing for interviews or speaking opportunities
You will make sure that we have the right agency partners and steer how we work with them. You will also build relationships with local journalists, NGO’s and other influential people or organisations we should know
You will keep an eye on the money, making sure that it is spent wisely and within the allocated budgets
OTHER KEY COMPETENCIES AND EXPERIENCE
You have 3-5 years of experience in PR & Communications (brand, agency or journalism)
You are both a strategist and a hands-on doer
We will want to see a demonstrated ability to develop and execute short and long-term measurably successful strategies and to execute tactical plans
Experience in the sustainability sphere is a plus
As we act in a truly global setting, your communication
skills in English must be excellent, both verbally and in writing
