Precision Engineer

Rotosub AB is a research and development company specialising in providing innovation solutions in noise reduction technology. We have close collaboration with the renowned Austrian fan specialist, Noctua, in the development of Noctua’s award-winning quiet cooling fans. Rotosub is a small team based in Linköping and we work closely with team members based in Austria and Asia.
As part of the expansion plan with Noctua, Rotosub is currently seeking individual to fill up the position of Precision Engineer in the Linköping office.
Responsibilities
· Create print and CAM data via 3D CAD.
· Produce prototypes via 3D printers.
· Install motor units to prototypes.
· Reproduce and duplicate samples according to specifications.
· Calibrate and rework (surface finish) 3D prints for comparison measurements.
· Inspect finished parts regarding specified requirements and standards.
· Analyse and detect root causes in the event of damages.
· Maintenance and service of equipment and tools.
Qualifications
· Completed degree in engineering
· Completed vocational training as a precision engineer is preferred.
· Experience in assembling mechanical components*.
· Experience with CAD/CAM software*.
· Experience in 3D printing is preferred.
· Basic knowledge of electrical engineering is an advantage.

This position will requirement frequent communication with team members in Austria or Asia, hence, the individual we are looking for must be fluent in English and a good team player who strives to achieve high quality results. Research and development are very dynamic fields where creative ideas flow often and fast. Therefore, willingness to learn and desire to develop one’s professional knowledge further is also something that we prefer. Attention to details is a trait that we look for as well.
