Arbetsbeskrivning
Sustainability including climate change are the challenges of our generation. Our contribution is to offer leading transport and infrastructure solutions enabling societies to prosper in a sustainable way.
Powertrain Strategic Development has the responsibility to explore and develop new sustainable propulsion solutions, including hydrogen-based propulsion technologies.
Do you want to join us in this journey? Together we will shape the world we want to live in!
THIS IS US, YOUR NEW COLLEAGUES
The Energy Management group within Powertrain Strategic Development is looking for a developer with focus on developing and integrating embedded software technologies for Predictive Energy Management solutions, to be using in e.g., Fuel Cell Electric Vehicles (FCEV).
The Energy Management group consists of a team of dedicated experts that are responsible for developing, implementing, and testing top notch control solutions to minimize vehicle energy consumption and to ensure durability of the Fuel Cell system. This is done using both virtual simulation tools and physical vehicle testing. We have high expertise in Control Theory, System Modelling and Simulations, Control Development and Software Implementation and Integration.
THIS IS THE ROLE
As a Predictive Thermal Management Developer, you will develop and integrate embedded software solutions for controlling thermal systems of a vehicle.
We use modern state-of-the-art algorithms including look-ahead information, meaning the implementation will preferably be done in ecu’s with high computational power. Working with techniques to optimize computational demand as well as memory usage is also important.
Another part of the role is to work closely with virtual testing to develop methods for automated regression tests, as well as methods for efficient fault tracing.
THIS IS YOU
To be successful in this role and enjoy your work we believe that you have a broad technical background in the control domain with expert knowledge in automotive embedded control software. You have also knowledge about software architecture and infrastructure.
You are exploratory and innovative with the ability to drive things to completion, which means that being proactive and willing to take ownership is something you enjoy. Since we are a global organization, it is important that you are fluent in spoken and written English, like teamwork and interaction with people and that you can communicate effectively.
Qualifications:
PhD or M.Sc. in Engineering with focus on Control, Software or equivalent
Broad knowledge of automotive embedded software and networks (CAN, LIN, etc)
Good knowledge about programing languages (e.g., Python, C/C++, Matlab/Simulink)
Good knowledge in thermal systems, including 1D modelling and simulation
Team player with the mindset to support others and ask for help when needed
Action oriented and eager to actively learn new technology
Do you want the opportunity to work with sustainable transport solutions in a creative and multi-cultural work environment, with the mission to explore novel concepts and technologies, don’t hesitate, apply now!
