Right now, we’re looking for a structured Preparation Engineer to our Preparations department – someone who wants to contribute to advance our products, production processes and our business as a whole. About the job
In this position, you’re responsible for building an easy and understandable structure in our business system through to our production – making it possible for us to build and manufacture everything from spare parts to finished machines in a correct and efficient way. You’re the link between our construction, production, supply and customers and you always ensure that everything is in order in the systems. You plan, coordinate and drive internal changes, as well as product-, industrial-, and customer projects, and you distribute new or revised drawings and other technical documentation. You do this by assessing time frames, techniques and costs for production startups, regarding both new and changed products and in close consultation with affected departments.
In conclusion, you’re our gate keeper; reviewing all incoming projects in close collaboration with the construction department and then preparing for production. Together with your team, you have a global responsibility in ensuring that changes are made properly and reach our other units around the world – helping us build an outstanding system with consistent high quality ready to deliver.
This position is based at our division headquarters in Svedala – a fast and easy commute from surrounding cities such as Malmö, Lund and Ystad, and with our site located just across from the train station.
About you
We’re looking for someone with a technical education or the equivalent experience gained from a working career. You also have a technical background within the manufacturing industry, for example as a production technician, and a deep understanding of what a Preparation Engineer actually does. To be successful in this role, you must be able to read drawings and discover possible faults in them. Knowledge about our products or the systems ERP, M3, TeamCenter or PDM is highly advantageous. Since we interact in a global setting, you must be fluent in both English and Swedish.
