What we offer
Volvo Cars Service Business (VCSB) is a unit within Volvo Cars which is responsible for the worldwide aftermarket business. The purpose is to enable a hassle-free consumer experience and drive loyalty through high quality and premium service operations. The Revenue Management team is a business-driven function within VCSB, responsible for a wide range of tasks, including price strategies, performing competitive benchmarks and global business analytics.
The automotive industry is currently under-going a significant transformation driven by changing consumer behaviors, technology shifts and digitalization. We are now looking for an experienced Price Manager who will be a part of the new exciting pricing journey for VCSB.
The main objective for this role is to be a subject matter expert and set the correct price during the whole life cycle, to all stakeholders, in all business channels. All prices should boost
customer satisfaction as well as secure company revenue and drive sustainable growth.
We can offer you an exciting job where you will be a key player within the Revenue Management team and work cross-functionally with other departments at Volvo Cars Service Business and with our Regions and National Sales Companies around the world.
Scope
You will join a dynamic environment and work with global cross-functional teams to ensure that pricing model and execution and follow-up is in line with our new price strategy and position our products correctly within the marketplace.
What you will do
You will develop and implement new pricing strategies across various products and concepts. Keep track of market trends and analyze market price levels towards competition to determine growth and/or profitability potentials.
You will secure profit for all stakeholders within your assortment, perform relevant analysis to support fact-based decision making.
Further task includes; providing support and training, act as subject matter expert in special projects and continuously improve pricing process and tools.
You and your skills
University degree in Business Administration, Finance, Engineering or other relevant areas is required. You should be proficient in dealing with large sets of data and have documented
presentation skills. Good knowledge in Excel is necessary and you need to be Fluent in English, both verbally and in writing. A big plus if you have relevant experience from pricing or revenue management and Power BI. Also, an overall/generic knowledge of car parts (not specialist) is favorable.

To succeed in this role, you need to be team player and a driven person who is curious and not afraid to challenge in a thought through way. You also need to be structured, have a commercial and an analytical mind-set with a strategic ability. Our ideal candidate is a person with a proactive can-do attitude who likes details but who can see the big picture and who always put the customer in focus.
