What’s in it for you? 
You will join a dynamic environment and get to work in a global cross-functional team to follow up and ensure that the pricing model and execution are in line with our pricing strategy.
You will be responsible for setting prices of an assortment which should position our products correctly within the marketplace. All prices should boost customer satisfaction as well as secure company revenue and drive sustainable growth. The main objective of this role is to be a subject matter expert and to set the correct price during the whole life cycle, for all stakeholders, in all business channels.

We offer you an exciting job where you will be a key player within the Price Management team. You will get to work with other departments centrally within Volvo Cars and globally with our Regions and our National Sales Companies. Occasionally travels might be required. 

What you’ll do?
Develop, implement, and maintain pricing strategies. You will keep track of trends and analyse price levels toward competition to identify growth and/or profitability potentials. The prices you set should secure profitability for all stakeholders within the value chain.

As a Price Manager you will provide pricing support and training for colleagues in the National Sales Companies. You will perform relevant price analysis to support fact-based decisions. Further on you will act as a subject matter expert in special projects and continuously improve pricing processes and tools.

Do you fit the profile?
We are looking for you with a university degree in Business Administration, Economics, or equivalent experience in other relevant areas. Your knowledge of Excel is strong, and you are able to handle large volumes of data and do analyses based on the data. You have very good experience in presenting information in PowerPoint and explaining the background of your numbers. Since you will be working in an international context your great communication skill in English both spoken and written will be highly valued.
A big plus if you have relevant experience in pricing or revenue management. Also, overall/generic knowledge of car parts (not a specialist) is favourable, but not a requirement.

You enjoy learning new things, and quickly grasping the essence of complex problems and enjoy finding solutions. You enjoy identifying improvement areas and embracing change. Finally in this role, you handle a lot of information, and we expect high integrity and that you are used to handling confidential and sensitive information.
