The healthcare market is undergoing a rapid transformation, where Aurora Innovation is a leading player in the emerging digital ecosystem. We are now looking for an experienced Pricing Manager to take the lead in developing competitive pricing strategies for our product offering and make sure these are implemented across all markets.
Your role
In this pivotal role, you will, supported by our sales and product teams, optimize our product packaging and create and maintain price models in support of profitable growth. You will continuously monitor and analyze the impact of current pricing and define appropriate price levels for existing and new sales objects. Your work will be based on your product and business understanding, cross-functional collaboration, your deep insight in industry trends and on the findings from your research on market development and the competitive landscape.
Building up the price management function in Aurora Innovation, it will be your responsibility to develop, establish and drive effective pricing processes, to be deployed throughout the product and contract life cycles. You will also be responsible for the documentation, communication and training related to product packaging and pricing.
You will be a member of the Product Management team, reporting to the Chief Product Officer (CPO).
Who are you?
In order to thrive in this position, you must not only have a strong business focus and true interest in the product and it’s value to the customer, but you most likely also have
· A structured and methodical approach to you assignments
· Analytical skills, with an ability to think critically, analyze data, make difficult decisions and solve complex problems
· Strong self-management, power of initiative and prioritization skills
· At least 3-5 years experience as a Pricing Manager in the software business, preferably in a SaaS context. Ideally you have additional experience from working within and/or in close cooperation with sales, business development, marketing, product management and finance.
· A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business & Economics, Industrial Engineering and Management or other relevant field (or equivalent acquired skills and qualifications)
We believe you are a very collaborative person with excellent communication skills and an ability to build trust. Experience from healthcare, health-tech, telecom and/or the IT sector will be of great advantage.
