To succeed in this role, you have been working with Sales, Commercial Planning and especially Pricing for a minimum of 5 years at IKEA, preferably within the home furnishing-, service- or food sector. You have a proven record in planning, driving output and measuring business performance and a deep knowledge of data analytics, the pricing year cycle, competitor monitoring, price elasticity and affinity. Capabilities in Cognos, QlikView, PowerBI, Gadd and SLM are also preferred. Furthermore, you have knowledge about:
The IKEA concept, brand objectives, values and vision
The IKEA pricing tools, processes and year cycles
Range dimensioning and sales planning processes and tools
IKEA supply chain and impact of (in)accurate planning
How consumer acts, feels and behaves in a retail environment
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
As a Pricing Specialist, you will manage and continuously improve the development and execution of the pricing year cycle. You will develop the pricing tools and deliver pricing learning solutions and ways of working to our markets. Furthermore, you will:
Organize alignment to other core processes, such as sales and supply planning, range dimensioning and financial business planning for our complete commercial offer (Home Furnishing range, Services and IKEA food)
Co-create and implement the learning solutions for competitor monitoring in all markets and provide user support throughout the year cycle
Be responsible for in-depth analysis and follow up of multichannel pricing performance, competitor monitoring and provide insights for future improvement of the pricing process and ultimately the sales and margin results
Lead and contribute to the development of new tools, templates, learning solutions etc.
Contribute to the development of the yearly Ingka Pricing Strategy
Provide and share expertise on pricing in a clear and inspiring way to enable constant improvement learning with and between markets
This role is based in Malmö and you will report to the Pricing Leader.
