About IES

At Internationella Engelska Skolan (IES) we make a difference in the lives of our students. We seek a dynamic and experienced leader to take on the exciting challenge of Principal in the Falun area. IES Falun opened its doors in 2014 and offers outstanding bilingual education to 560 students from Years 4 - 9, and a fulfilling career opportunity for around 50 employees representing more than 10 nationalities!

As Principal, you have a clear assignment and the role of principal is not only operational but also strategic, both in terms of organization and building up various effective structures. Despite clear goals and vision, the assignment offers opportunities for creativity, innovation and independence as well as collaboration with the Principals' network and support from our specialist functions.

As principal, you are expected to represent the school in various contexts, for example through communication with the municipality and stakeholders as well as leading strategic issues regarding the school's development and future. Furthermore, your assignment includes networking locally and establishing collaborations both within the local business community and associations.

You have a proven track-record in a leadership position in the Swedish education sector with solid people management experience. You are a visible, forward-thinking leader and positive role model for the IES culture and value proposition. As a leader, you are structured, relational and self-reliant.
