IES is growing every year and we are looking for experienced school leaders who will create the opportunity for every student to realise their own potential in an international environment.

Internationella Engelska Skolan has been making a difference in the lives of our students for almost 30 years. We believe this is due to our clear ethos with engaged and visible leaders creating an environment in which teachers can teach and students learn. A diverse student and staff body, with English the language of the corridors, brings other perspectives and the world to your doorstep. We place the same emphasis on developing our students academically and socially, so they can step confidently into the adult world.

IES Skellefteå  opened in 2019 and offers outstanding bilingual education to around 450 students between grades F-9, and fulfilling career opportunities for around 60 employees. The school follows the Swedish National Curriculum Lgr22 as well as Cambridge Assessment International Education’s curriculum, which provides an education which is recognised by universities and employers around the world. Who are you?

You have a proven track-record in a leadership position in the Swedish education sector with solid people management experience. You are a true believer in bilingualism, international in mindset and attitude. You are able to apply your extensive knowledge of pedagogical leadership to create a work environment focused on professional growth. You are passionate about education and create a climate for learning. You are described as a visible, forward-thinking leader and will be a positive role model for the IES culture, inspiring both students and staff.
