Principal Software Engineer

Our studio is creating the future of King games! We are championing innovation and exploring new territories in mid-core. We need an expert to set the standards for A.I. development in this exciting studio.
King New Games is looking for a passionate Senior Gameplay developer to establish our tech and pipelines, define best practices, explore innovations in the field and, of course, produce mind-blowing bots in our games.
Responsibilities
You will be working directly on the gameplay of one of our mid-core titles, owning and driving the development of our bots.
Help define how we do AI in our team.
Deliver high quality in everything you do.
Work closely with your team as well as our shared teams.
Share knowledge and standard processes with peers and game teams.

Skills to create thrills:
Proficiency in 3D Mathematics.
Demonstrated expertise working in large Unity projects and C#
Extensive experience working on gameplay AI.
Knowledge of Unity Data-Oriented Technology Stack.
Experience working with action packed games, like shooters or similar.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Bonus points
Experience creating your custom tools in Unity.
Professional experience with Android and/or iOS development
Professional experience of runtime performance optimisation, ideally on mobile titles
Experience in taking a game into production and through launch.
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
