Principal Technical Program Manager
We are looking for a Principal Technical Program Manager to join NVIDIA’s GPU System Software team to lead our Projects, Programs and Products and go to market programs. We are looking for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and has excellent program management, leadership, and communication skills. You will support our software development teams and closely collaborate with teams across the organization in developing high quality system software. The ability to work in a dynamic matrix organization and diverse team is required. Strong interpersonal skills and a real passion for working as a team are critical to our Engineering goals.
What you'll be doing:
Manage complex software projects from requirements through launch, including implementing and running project schedules, removing obstacles, and keeping processes running efficiently.
Collaborate with Business, Engineering, Quality Assurance, Product Management, and other teams to define, prioritize, and implement features, infrastructure, processes, and workflows.
Regularly and proactively communicate project progress/status within/across engineering/management teams and supervise the resolution of critical issues.
Drive the day-to-day operational aspects of software development, coordinating across multiple development teams as well as QA, release operations, etc.
Anticipate risks and develop risk management solutions as appropriate
Identify failures, lead retrospective analysis, and help to develop action plans
Comfortable digging into requirements and development details while handling day-to-day tasks. You will also lead and improve existing product development and software release processes; and collaborate with engineering management to refine the development workflow for maximum engineering efficiency.
Leading and resolving complex initiatives, critical issues. Execute to the plan by collecting vital data, prioritizing issues, tracking overall progress from software and hardware standpoint, and drive issues to closure in a timely manner.
Assist in improving processes and procedures across various software teams. Help streamline day-to-day operations.

Understands and deals well with rapid development cycles and remains flexible and calm in the face of ambiguity.
Consistent track record of being well organized, having excellent listening skills and being detail oriented in an environment with shifting priorities and changing requirements.
Bachelor’s or higher degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field or equivalent experience.
12+ years of proven industry experience in successfully leading and delivering complex software projects
Ways to stand out from the crowd:
Deep understanding of software engineering principles and experience in GPU software environments.
Highly motivated with strong communication skills, with the ability to work successfully with multi-functional teams and coordinate effectively across organizational boundaries and geographies
You have previously identified missing or inefficient processes, improved, and implemented them across multiple teams spanning large matrix organizations.
Proven track record of having lead teams across large teams and successfully delivered complex programs, projects.
