Job Description
As a print designer at Weekday you will play an important part in our creative team and on our exciting and ambitious journey towards Weekday’s future. The core responsibility of a print designer is to design the best prints (AOP´s & placement prints) for our target customer to drive responsible growth in all sales channels. You will work closely with the other print designers at Weekday, specializing in prints for our female customer but if/when needed, also have the competence to do mens prints. You create and design the best prints for our target customer to drive responsible growth in all channels.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Design the best prints for our target customer in collaboration with the product team
Research – the surroundings, competitors & fashion forward trends
Identify seasonal print keys, drive new & commercial directions
Constantly follow, identify & react on tendencies based on customer insights & surrounding analysis in collaboration with the product team
Drive the print development in a responsible way from start to end in close collaboration with the product team
Identify, develop & drive w.o.w-factor to reach our overall goals within relevance, agility, price and responsibility
Identify new, relevant print techniques
Strategically work with plc, fashion triangle & timing
Responsible for and understanding of all product policy / legal approvals concerning fashion prints
Close collaboration with the design lead, the print design lead and product team

Qualifications
You are creative yet commercial, you enjoy teamwork with other designers and functions. You have high fashion print trend sensitivity and a great understanding for the customer need. You’re collaborative and communicative. You are driven by the opportunity to maximize the potential of our products and assortment in a creative and responsible way. We look for:
