Privacy Security Engineer

Your Role
As a Privacy Security Engineer, you will be responsible for:

• Cloud/IoT privacy risk and security management.

• Privacy laws, directives, regulations, and standards such as GDPR, HIPAA,
California Consumer Privacy Act(CCPA), California Public Records Act(CPRA), etc.

• Acting as a 1st line support advisory service for day-to-day queries related to privacy (e.g., how to interpret data privacy requirements, assessment/ inventory queries, conflicts with local legal requirements, etc.)

• Drive implementation of data privacy in alignment with organization Data Privacy steering documents and common goals.

• Manage the maintenance of data inventories and DPIAs.

• Ensuring the implementation of technical privacy controls spanning all technology capability areas.
Your Profile
We are now looking for you who have a background in either legal privacy or information security and has been working with privacy for at least 3 years. If you have knowledge and interest in technical compliance aspects of privacy, it's excellent. We also appreciate if you have conducted DPIA’s and worked with Privacy by Design or other technical privacy requirements.

To be successful in this role, we are also happy to see that you have:

BSc or MSc Computer Science or similar

At least 3 years of experience working on privacy/cyber risk management and compliance in a professional capacity.

Certifications such as CIPP/E, CIPT or CIPM, or any other training in privacy

-
Project management skills

-
Experience within Agile methodology

Internal/External Stakeholder management skills on many levels

Very good communication skills in English
