About the assignment
We provide unique IKEA specialist competence in developing, improving, designing, establishing and operating IKEA Customer Meeting Points based on a market approach across all IKEA markets. Customer Meeting Points are IKEA Stores, Small Stores, Pick-up up & Points and Plan, Shops and Plan & Order Points.
We coach, mentor, support and challenge IKEA retailers in their expansion plans.
We cooperate with our IKEA franchisees in over 50 countries all over the world.
We work in a multicultural environment, where we are comfortable using English (spoken and written) to communicate
Job description
As a Process and Service Leader within Customer Meeting Points (CMP) department you are maintaining the portfolio of new establishment and rebuild projects from a franchisor design process perspective. You are the main contact with our franchisees and the IKEA retailer and their expansion organization.
In this role your task will:
Lead the portfolio of projects from a region/market perspective for the franchisor design process and enable right service offer to enable speed and quality.
Lead the project foundation phase, securing that the scope is clear and aligned across main stakeholders and that all pre-conditions are in place before the design work starts.
Ensure the relevant internal stakeholders are updated with the current and forthcoming portfolio to enable qualitive allocation of resources to each project and to highlight potential projects for development of IKEA Concept.
Support during the design phase with overall market perspective and the relationship with IKEA retailer.
Responsible to identify potential improvements and transfer learnings from previous projects in order to constantly improve the service offer.
Lead additional assignments connected to the CMP design process and ways of working

We believe that you have a combination of the following knowledge, capabilities and background:
General knowledge about design and building processes.
Experience of establishment of IKEA stores and other customer meeting points.
Experience from leading people across functions and organizations in an international and culturally diverse work environment.
Experience of how to lead multiple projects/portfolio management.
Knowledge about IKEA Concept and its Customer Meeting Point types.
Good leadership with the ability to make complex tasks and processes understood and actionable.
Capability to navigate and lead in a complex, unknown and fast-changing environment.
Capability to build engage trustful and sustainable relationships with stakeholders, business partners and franchisees.
Passion to enable IKEA to expand in existing and new markets to be able to reach many more of the many with a clear customer focus.
Enjoy working in a fast-paced, global, multicultural and changing environment.
Strong verbal and written English language skills.
