The job offers the possibility to work with both purchasing and IT solutions within Purchasing. This is a newly created position offering an opportunity to be part of leading Sandvik´s strategic focus on purchasing across all business units in Sweden.

Indirect Purchasing is now a group function at Sandvik and needs to deploy the One Sandvik approach at the working level, within the processes and systems used for Indirect Purchasing globally. This position will support region Sweden at an operations level in harmonizing processes and systems in Sweden to achieve one global way of working.

The location for this position is flexible.

Key performance areas
In this position you will work with IT-demand within the process and tools area at Indirect Purchase. You will work hands on with process documentation and systems management, but will also have a strategic view of the overall purpose of implementing new changes, processes and systems and maintaining old systems where required. Within Sweden, Indirect Purchasing uses a number of different computer systems (ERP, Cloud, home grown). You will be the person in between the Swedish users and the system experts. The role will require that you can come to understand the processes and business needs of Indirect Purchasing and also understand the IT landscape the respective system operates in, as well as having a good understanding of the systems themselves.

Your responsibilities will include:
- Administrator and Key User for Indirect Purchase Systems in Sweden
- Functional design and solution concept support for minor or major modifications or new functions for the user environment in co-ordination with IT
- Local implementation project leader for any process, system modifications or new indirect purchase system implementation
- Maintaining all purchase process documentation
- Representing Region Sweden Indirect Purchasing in IT collaboration for global projects
- Participating in business process improvements and mapping as required
- Facilitating User Demand Forums for efficient cooperation and synergies within the organization
- Involvement in new projects and initiatives within the Indirect Purchasing area related to processes and systems

Some travel may be required.

Your profile
We are looking for someone with an academic education and with three to five years' practical experience from purchasing. Experience from being an administrator, key user or purchase system owner (ERP or Cloud) is a requirement. We also expect that you have the ability and openness to work at the operative level with the processes and systems and understand what is required at the moment from stakeholders, employees and suppliers. You can effectively communicate at all levels and also have good skills in English, both written and verbal. Work experience in MDM, experience from purchasing master data management and purchasing system implementation are advantages, as is IT basic programming and query-writing skills.
