Arbetsbeskrivning
A genuine interest in our customers' success, our family spirit and personal commitment are the values that summarize our corporate culture. These values don’t only reflect a shared view of the business, they also unite Seco’s employees across both geographical and cultural borders.
EHS and sustainability are main priorities for us, and we actively and consciously work to create a culture where safety always comes first - regardless of the circumstances. To monitor compliance and develop the processes and tools we use within EHS and sustainability, we’re now looking for a driven Controller to join our team in Fagersta. Are you eager to establish a strong foundation and find new and effective ways of working with these important areas? Then this is the perfect opportunity for you!
Your mission
In this position, you manage, advice and support our purchasing team on how to interpret and work with purchasing activities related to EHS, supplier audits and sustainability, and you ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations and mitigate potential risks. You bring high focus on sustainability and develop our work in this field, and you offer your expertise in identifying and updating processes for Reach and RoHS, ECHA, conflict minerals and our Supplier Code of Conduct. Active collaboration with all divisions within Sandvik Machining Solutions is on your agenda, and you follow up on monthly KPIs, as well as engage in exploring synergies and best practices across the organization.
Your profile
We’re looking for someone with a degree in Law, Purchasing, EHS or Quality, combined with broad experience from both EHS and sustainability work. Experience from purchasing and related processes is advantageous, and we highly value knowledge in different management systems. Skills in M3 is a plus, and as we’re a global business, we expect you to be fluent in written and verbal English, while knowledge of Swedish is beneficial.
To be part of our Seco family, we believe that you’re a true team player – someone who easily collaborates and builds strong relations based on trust and straightforward communication. Energy, drive and structure are your keys to being successful in this role, and you constantly aim to develop both yourself and our organization.
Our Seco culture
All Seco employees across the globe share our family spirit, along with a passion for our customers and a personal commitment to ensure success in everything we do. For us, it’s also clear that our diversities form an amazing foundation for achieving great results. Visit our LinkedIn or Facebook to get to know us and our products further.
