Main tasks and responsibilities
In this role you will design, drive and monitor the quality, safety, and efficiency of control systems at our Nouryon manufacturing plants in Örebro and region West of Sweden. This involves troubleshooting and optimization of processes that need to be improved, determining costs of labor and materials to carry out these improvements, and ensuring that processes are compliant and effective.
Further you will:
Provide day to day plant process automation support, assisting and heading improvements/expansion projects.
Run day to day process control optimization using embedded functionality in DCS and other available tools and software in combination with practical and theoretical knowledge.
Identify shortcomings in current reporting methods, data systems and corresponding procedures; proposes and (where possible) implements alternatives.
Monitor maintenance of Process Control Code and executing application program loads.
Cooperate and collaborate with site team(s), ISC Digital and Operational Excellence Team when it comes to deliver support for data analysis and validation

Qualifications
Academic level within process engineering, chemical engineering or equivalent
Technical interest in process engineering, automation and data analytics
Strong technical skills
Persistent, driven and passionate about improvements
Open to innovation and ability to work in a flexible work environment
Highly developed interpersonal skills, both verbal and in writing
Fluent in English, both verbal and in writing
Swedish proficiency is preferred

Additional information
This is a permanent, fulltime position reporting to Maintenance Manager. The position is located at our site outside Örebro and will be travelling approximately 25% to our production sites in the Gothenburg area. Preferred start in March.
