Process Control Engineer

We are now looking for an experienced Process Control Engineer who will be involved in developing and pushing through proposals for growth, increased efficiency and safety improvements.
You will be joining a skilled team of engineers with experience from multiple organizations and various fields. In this function you will have many contact areas and work with several functions on site. Cooperation and team orientation are key in this role.
Our PQC department is supporting our plants at Site Stockvik with expertise in process engineering, process control engineering, process safety and quality control management. We have a high ambition to deliver owners engineering and improve process safety and product quality. At the PQC department you will get the opportunity to further develop your talents and skills and contribute to continuously improve our organization.


Responsibilities
The main tasks and responsibilities include:


• Act as process control expert on site.
• Act as lead engineer, site representative or technical licensor in projects.
• Programming and configuration capabilities in the Emerson DeltaV system.
• Responsible to set standards and process control philosophy for the Site including batch control.
• Accountable for maintaining proper documentation of functional descriptions.
• Responsible to drive continuous improvement for productivity, HSE, reliability and quality within the process control field.
• Provide engineering support for multiple small capital projects. simultaneously including scope definition, engineering design, software configuration, bid package evaluations from vendors and contractors, MOC preparation, oversee contractors.
• Managing shutdown/commissioning, startup phases and train operators.
• External and internal contact person for process control.
• Ability to take the responsibility as MES contact person for the implementation of MES in new projects.
• Participate as discipline engineer in risk analyses in projects and small modifications (HAZOP, What-If, LOPA, SIL, MOC).


Requirements

• M.Sc. in Automation Engineering/ Chemical Engineering or similar.
• Relevant experience or at least 3 years of experience in automation engineering/process control engineering.
• Experience with chemical plant design, start up and commissioning.
• Excellent knowledge in the Emerson DeltaV system including batch control.
• Knowledge and experience in other process control systems such as Siemens and ABB are a plus.
• Knowledge in risk assessment.
• Fluent in English and Swedish (written and spoken).
