Process Design and Project Engineer

We now have 1 opening for a permanent position as Process Design and Project Engineer at AkzoNobel at our site in Stenungsund.

This position includes process design engineering related to site capital improvement and continuous improvement projects. Furthermore, the position includes acting as project owner for on-going initiatives thus forming a key interface between AkzoNobel and collaborating engineering firms.

Main duties and responsibilities:

- Process design engineering, plant improvements and capital expence projects.
- Calculations and dimensioning of plant process equipment
- Initiate and manage Improvement and investment projects
- Drive budget, timelines, validating proposed technology improvements, and ensure successful implementation
- Support and perform investigations within the plants work with continuous improvement

Requirements
- M.Sc. in Chemical Engineering or related field or experience from Chemical industries
- Highly experienced in process engineering and project management
- Good knowledge of chemical industry processes
- Knowledge in Lean Six sigma is preferred
- Fluent in Swedish and English
