Process Developer

Job Description
IKEA is a big company and we are everywhere! That means we work a lot with international customs and trade questions. Our Customs Coordination Centre (CCC) at IKEA of Sweden, located in Älmhult, is the place where many of these are handled and solved. Their expertise helps us make informed decisions on for example where to buy materials, where to produce products and which new markets to explore. A truly borderless place to work!
Right now, we are looking to add a Process Developer to the team. This new challenging role is perfect for someone with a mindset like a Project Leader and a talent for process improvements and structure. Can you help us work smarter, faster and better? In this role, you will be taking care of the systems utilized by CCC and all connected processes in relation to the system. Your analyses will help us improve our internal processes. This will help us to put our effort and energy into the right things. This is important for us to be able going forward, so we really mean it when we are saying that this is a key role for us. In a nutshell.
Examples of specifical tasks in this role are:
Analyse, map and suggest improvements of internal processes
Secure those procedures are aligned with routines and ways of working
Act as super user for our system (CAIS and Cognos)

You could say that it’s about finding the best ways of working, supported by the best technical solution and then making it happen. And, of course, also having the numbers to prove it worked! You will be part of the process developer network within IKEA of Sweden, where you can share, learn, inspire, and contribute. Qualifications
We are looking for you who knows a lot about process development, data management and change management in a nutshell. You have been working as a Project Leader or have a good knowledge of or experience in project management. If you have experience from the customs or trade field, it´s a merit. As this is a new role, it´s important that you are at your best when scouting, finding your way forward. Your analytical mindset is sharp, spiced with a natural curiosity to seek information and a good ability to see the big picture while still paying attention to detail. For us at IKEA, the most important thing is that you share our values. Values like leadership by example and that you are constantly being on the way with a cost-conscious mind set are important. Your skills in English are very good, both spoken and written.
