Do you want to be involved in the development of high-tech products that save lives? You want to develop next generation radar and camera systems for Active Safety? Magna Electronics are now looking for a Process Developer Active Alignment to join their high skilled team in Vårgårda!

As LPD (local process developer) within Active Alignment at Magna Electronics, your work will be to develop and improve the process of Active Alignment and its sub processes.

Examples of subprocesses that is within the equipment’s except for Active Alignment are Sensor Test, Surface Cleaning, Glue Dispensing, mechanical interfaces, and automation controls.

You will be taking lead in the process development to increase the performance of existing equipment’s together with a team of engineers within Active Alignment and other processes. As the point of contact towards the global organization you will also be responsible of making sure that your processes meet the requirements from the global standard. Also included in your responsibility is to provide important inputs to the Global Team in predevelopment projects for new products (DFM) and to take lead when it later comes to Industrialization of new machines in production on your local plant in Vårgårda. You will work with setting requirements towards supplier (machine requirement specification) with inputs from DFM and the Global Team to drive the procurement and commissioning / validation of new production equipment.

In your day-to-day work you will be involved in different activities linked to your process, following up the results with the team based on data and facts in the activities that is ongoing to support production and projects. You are ambitious in your work and likes working in a team to spread your knowledge and learn.

Who are you
You are prestige less and never hesitates to go hands on in the equipment’s, to support the needs that shows up. We also think that you are a person who has experience from a machine and optical standpoint. We see that you are a strong team player and have excellent communication skills. You have analytical ability to make well-informed decisions based on data and facts. Further you are ambitious and openness to learning and growth.

To be successful in this position, we believe that you have:

• University Degree, e.g., MSc in Engineering Physics
• Fundamentals of optical elements with their interrelation and impact on each other
• (Basic understanding and knowledge of optics)
• Experience working with Active Alignment (ie optics / lasers).
• Lens / backplate / fiber & laser alignment
