Process Developer & ERP Specialist to Westermo

Arbetsbeskrivning

Welcome to a rapidly growing international company, thriving at the forefront of cutting edge technology. Westermo develops and manufactures advanced devices for industrial data communication, used in mission-critical installations and harsh industrial environments. The very robust and secure communication networks built with our products provide a high value for our customers.

We are focused on leveraging growth opportunities in our market and are devoted to delivering the world's best industrial networks. This is achieved through a very dynamic work environment where teamwork and loyalty are valued. Strong and honest relationships with colleagues, customers, and suppliers are important to us. We have an open culture where we share knowledge, learn from one another and explore new ideas, allowing us to constantly improve.

Westermo is on a journey to become a World Class Factory. We have been, and are continuing to develop and implement new ways of working. Within the Operations department (which contains manufacturing, purchasing, logistics, planning and production technology), we are looking for someone to help us utilize our ERP system to the maximum, working on both the system in itself, but also the processes around it. Westermo uses IFS as ERP and have over the years established experienced super users in several fields. The new opportunities requires additional skillsets and dedicated ownership based on the specific business needs. Our plans are big, and there will be exciting projects ahead, including setting up a European Distribution Center in Malmö. Thus, we are looking for someone to fill a new role, as Process Developer & ERP Specialist!

Are you our new Process Developer & ERP Specialist?

In this new role, you will be given the chance to optimize, improve and introduce new processes within the Operations function, mainly. Your focus will be on utilizing and developing the use and efficiency of IFS in our organization. The role is versatile; there will be hands-on support to users, continuous development as well as acting as a subject matter expert in certain projects, and project manager in others.

As the Process Developer & ERP Specialist, you will be expected to keep up with development of IFS, applying best practices and work strategically and operationally with development and improvements based on our roadmap.

Some other tasks in this role:

- Master data, meta data and data quality work.
- Support colleagues with specific IFS tickets.
- Collect, rework and priorities requirements from various areas of the company.
- Be a process owner for operations processes in IFS at Group IT, and within the entire Group that Westermo is part of.

You will report to the Logistics & Distribution manager, but also closely work with the IT Team and CIO.

So, who are we looking for?

We are looking for an experienced ERP-specialist. Someone who sees the connection between a process and the support an ERP-system can give. We want you to have experience working in an operations/manufacturing environment, because the need of an ERP system can very much vary depending on the context. We believe that this role will be a rewarding challenge for someone who likes to work with change (management), and thrives in a role as the “spider in the web”, as we say in Sweden (basically a coordinator, but a spider sounds better, right?)

Requirements:

- Deep ERP-knowledge, preferably in IFS, but SAP or similar systems is also meritorious.
- Experience working in Operations/Manufacturing, perhaps in planning/supply chain/IT or similar
- Fluent in Swedish and English (as you will work with local and global colleagues)
- Collaborative approach to solving problems
- Communicative, both verbally and in written

Meritorious:

- Experience in Project Management
- Experienced in working with continuous improvements methodologies
- Experience in requirements management
- Knowledge in process modelling

In return, we offer: You will be working at the forefront of technology in a friendly, open culture where we you get the opportunity to learn from skilled colleagues every day. A mature and caring leadership in a flat organization. Through our collective bargain agreement you will be covered in terms of insurance, pension and other benefits. We like to have fun together and we regularly enjoy sports and other social activities as a team. We believe that magic happens when people meet. We are a learning organization and we truly love to try new things, think outside the box and be innovative together!

Basic information:
