Process Development Engineer

We embrace the diversity of our people and is now looking for a talented engineer to strengthen our development team in the Cracker plant during a maternity leave.

As a Process Development Engineer, you will be responsible for process related technical service for the hydrocarbon plant in Stenungsund. You will act as the technical specialist with the responsibility to improve, optimize and develop the plant in the respect of technical and economical standards as well as improve the result within HSE&Q. You will be part of a cross-disciplinary team, with Junior/Senior Engineers, and work towards the mission to develop the design and operation of our plant. You will continuously improve in safety, energy efficiency and operability.
As a Process Development Engineer, you will…
Continuously seek innovative and optimal process solutions within safety, energy and operability.
Be responsible for benefit studies and preparing project proposals.
Participate in CAPEX projects as process engineer.
Participate in start-up, commissioning and tuning of process plants.
Trouble-shoot and solve problems in the plant.
Be active in information sharing in order to boost team performance.

This job might be for you if you have a master degree in chemical engineer or similar, 5+ years of experience within plant operation and troubleshooting, project management or engineering. You have good analytical and communication skills, master Swedish and English (literacy, spoken and written), and prioritizing and taking decisions comes naturally for you. Your ability to engage, motivate and involve people results in strong networks.
