The Process Development Leader leads design and implementation of the finance end-to-end process to secure fit for purpose, standardised and automated ways of working and also leads continuous improvement of process with all relevant stakeholders cross group functions, CoE, Digital and GBO. The Process Development Leader leads, steers and supports overall Ingka financial reporting that is beneficial to people & planet and protects and adds value to our assets, securing profitable growth and financial independence. By designing an effective process, supported by a strong compliance framework, and effective governance to enable entrepreneurship and safeguard our people, customers and businesses.
Lead a specific process design and prepare basis for decisions with E2E process view and collaborate closely with relevant functions (Group Functions, GBO, Markets, and Digital, etc.).
Secure consistency and interdependencies in the process development towards other connected processes.
Lead the implementation and establishment of the process ways of working and secure designed process efficiencies and effectiveness.
Assess and analyse the business benefit of identified process improvement potentials of specific processes and lead continuous improvement initiatives cross-functionally.
Lead the process documentation according to defined framework, (process maps, working methods, task descriptions, measurement specifications and learning material, ...).
Setup performance measurement (KPIs) for specific processes, secure connection with the other processes and follow up on performance.
Lead initiatives and projects and act as specific finance process representative contributing to other Ingka projects, e.g. new countries, new touchpoints, new business model etc.
Secure and maintain a connection with and between core areas, business owners, group functions, process teams within the Ingka Group.
Secure cross-organisational readiness and continued business growth in terms of competence, performance and succession through enabling an end-to-end approach.
Ensuring a safe environment for co-workers and external consultants and contractors in accordance with Ingka policies.
Key previous experiences, proven skills and knowledge:
Bachelor degree in Finance / Economics or a related field.
5-7 years with increased responsibility in accounting or finance related field.
Strong ability to prioritize, provide clear directions and multi task.
Ingka business experience.
Ability to communicate confidently and clearly in English.
Proven skills in developing people and provide support, coaching, training, and career direction to others.
Comprehensive understanding of the IKEA concept, its Brand identity, Culture & Values and strategic directions.
Comprehensive understanding of IKEA business, its market and industry; knowledge of Ingka group's core business operations and key interactions between businesses/functions.
Broad understanding of Ingka's business, financial and operational processes, their interdependencies and how to work through them.
General understanding of how to assess, analyse and mitigate risks in a business environment.
Good understanding of data science, new technologies, analytics and their wide ranging application in business context.
Good understanding of how to create and implement change initiatives and manage stakeholders in Ingka.
Good understanding of project management processes including methods and tools; and how to integrate them.
Good understanding of the customer needs, demands and expectations on the markets.
