Supply Chain Development (SCD) is one of the business units in Supply and we are on an exciting journey! By gathering the end-to-end supply chain development and innovation agenda into one organization, embedding management and development of processes and digital solutions into the business, we will meet the future with the right competences and business capabilities. By this we will also create the preconditions for a world class supply chain that enable IKEA to efficiently respond to the ever-changing customer needs.
Job Description
The IKEA end-to-end processes describe how we deliver value to our customers in an efficient and scalable way, connecting all the different functions across our value chain. They help to streamline our operations, eliminate bottlenecks, and ensure consistency in our delivery to secure IKEA uniqueness – our övertag. In today's complex business environment, this is more important than ever.
We are going to enable long term success and a fantastic customer experience by strengthening process orientation in IKEA through:
Analyzing opportunities, gaps, and root causes in the End-to-end Goods flow process (from sourcing of material all the way to products, parts and material being used and reused by customers) to identify why and what we need to develop and how to prioritize and sequence our actions for optimal impact.
Working closely together with the other three IKEA E2E processes to manage interdependencies, foster collaboration and define common ways to set goals and measure performance.
Ensuring a unified and holistic approach to business process management. This includes developing a framework that outlines the ways of working at all levels and creating a common source of truth for documentation.
We are now looking for a Process Development Leader who will create preconditions for value creation through our processes. You will play a vital role in analyzing business opportunities, addressing gaps, and identifying root causes within our end-to-end goods flow process. Your focus will be on eliminating bottlenecks and ensuring consistent delivery across our integrated value chain. By working closely with process leaders in the business, colleagues in the process development network, you will contribute to developing a process-oriented mindset and driving continuous improvement. This position requires cross organizational leadership beyond Supply and Inter IKEA. You will report to the Business Process Manager SCD/process leader IKEA level 1.
As a Process Development Leader, you will, among other assignments:
Be responsible for in-depth analyses of value streams and root causes, leading initiatives such as value stream mapping, and collaborating with business stakeholders across the value chain.
Promoting cross-process collaboration, adopting a holistic view, and driving a mindset of continuous improvement throughout IKEA.
Making processes known at various levels within IKEA, tailoring communication based on specific needs, and fostering a process-oriented mindset.
Acting as a leader within the network of process developers in the capability areas in Supply, providing guidance, inspiration, and coaching to drive process development initiatives.
Taking responsibility for the development and adoption of the Business Process Management Framework, including defining ways of working, life cycle management, and supporting the competence development of process developers.
Contribute to the wider transformation agenda of the IKEA operating model within and beyond Supply Chain Development.
Constantly act as an ambassador for IKEA by nurturing strong collaboration and relationships with stakeholders.
Qualifications

To succeed in this role, we believe you have:
Passion for Supply Chain with a strong knowledge and understanding of the IKEA value chain and system.
Proficiency in performing business analysis, scenario planning, and drawing clear conclusions to support sound business decisions and effective implementations of new ways of operating IKEA in an omnichannel environment.
Desire to challenge existing ways of working, embrace agile ways of working, and drive change with speed and direction.
Experience of leading in the unknown and through strong communication build trust and relationships to handle multiple stakeholders, internal and external, in a global environment.
Proven ability to lead, develop, inspire, and influence leaders, colleagues, and specialists in a global and cross-functional assignment.
Capability to represent IKEA towards external partners and to be an IKEA ambassador in everything you do.
Experience in process development, modeling, and a solid understanding of business process management principles.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
