We are now looking for a new Process Development Manager.
Main responsibilities
The overall purpose with this role is to deliver global business growth opportunities within Inorganic Specialties (Kromasil and Levasil) and thereby ensuring continuous world leading position of Nouryon. The Process Development Manager is a member of the Inorganic Specialties R&D leadership team.
Primary functions:
Lead Process Development activities in Inorganic Specialties to ensure growth by introduction of new products and more efficient chemical production processes.
Lead strategic development of silica production technologies. (Levasil and Kromasil).
As a member of the cross functional product pulse teams for Kromasil and Levasil be responsible for preparation and prioritization of new project proposals.
Establish and maintain good relations with critical functions in the BL (especially with all Levasil and Kromasil production sites), and with external partners e.g. customers, Universities, Institutes etc.
Actively contribute to continuous improvement of management routines and decision processes of the department.
Qualifications
You got the ability and interest to coach, lead and teach colleagues and enjoy being in an environment of change. You are a good team player, know how to build own network and have the ability to gain respect and trust through situational leadership and integrity. We also believe that you are risk-friendly and self-directed, able to take a decision quickly within uncertainty.
Master of Science in Chemistry Engineering (or equivalent).
At least 7 years of relevant working experience
Managerial experience
Strategic insight and business understanding.
Ability to lead, engage and coach others.
Skilled at organizing, prioritizing workflow, and coordinating the work of others.
Collaborative cross-functional team player. Result oriented, good ability to cooperate.
