We’re looking for a Process Engineer to implement, develop, and optimize the production flow of used electric cars at Carla.

Recruitment need

Carla is looking for an exceptional Process Engineer to join our fast-growing operations team. In this role, you will support our operations leadership team in a busy and demanding production environment. Within production operations, we turn a sometimes flawed car into a perfect one that is ready for sale. The flow includes inspection, test drive, battery testing, ordering parts, car wash, reconditioning, repairs, re-inspection, quality control, photography, publishing on website, and delivery preparation.

Your main responsibility will be to identify and act upon development areas and implement new approaches and methodologies to improve operations in our brand new workshop in Kungsängen. The role is focusing on and working around tight deadlines to ensure customer requirements are being maintained and high quality standards are met.

Responsibilities

- As our process engineer you will implement, develop, and optimize production methodologies in the production operations of Carla.
- You will be responsible for optimizing car flow through the facility through process optimization.
- You will interface with finance, customer service, logistics to solve problems, improve lead times, improve quality, and implement continual improvement.
- Measure the impact of delays, disruptions and/or changes to plans and implement appropriate solutions.
- Work closely with the training team to identify and support employee training and development plans
- Responsible for diagnosing issues found during the part manufacturing process and drive corrective action back to source, resulting in root cause identification and elimination. Utilize structured problem solving techniques such as DMAIC, Ishikawa, Five Why (5W) and Eight Disciplines (8D).


Requirements:

- BS degree in engineering, mathematics, physical science or other applicable degree (advanced degree preferred)
- Experience developing and improving Process
- Strong problem solving skills and an aptitude for learning systems quickly. Able to utilize structured problem solving techniques such as DMAIC, Ishikawa, Five Why (5W) or Eight Disciplines (8D). Able to resolve high level performance issues into addressable actions.
- Data collection and analysis experience. Ability to develop data driven root cause analyses and solutions.


Soft Skills

- Exceptional capacity for managing simultaneous activities, competing priorities and challenges.
- Strong ability to work and communicate effectively with team and peers within a manufacturing and engineering organization. This includes excellent communication skills: written and verbal.
- Creative capacity for developing new ways to do things better, cheaper, faster in alignment with the Carla approach to revolutionary operations development.
- Passion for making fantastic new processes and using testing as a means to enable an engineering organization to achieve outstanding quality, reliability and excellence
