Process Engineer

A Process Specialist is responsible for the execution of duties within a given process area that includes, but is not limited by, process trial execution, operating equipment, and the collection and presentation of data from research trials. In addition to this, the Process specialist should be part of commissioning new equipment and developing new improvements under engineering instruction.
Key responsibilities
Overall areas of responsibility and activities
Supervising the manufacturing processes, ensuring production work is done in a safe, efficient manner.
Directly and actively involved in the four vital processes in the Electrode.
Prepares product reports from experiments by collecting, analysing, and summarizing the information and results from all four processes.
Initiates and performs investigations connected to coated electrode after coating and performs this considering all mechanical, operational, and received material failures.
Performs additional tests required from coated electrode from or after coating e.g., peel test, alignment checks, dripping tests etc.
Working closely with the Production team with the defect identification and investigating the root cause for defects, which would need cooperation with the operational team and electrode engineering team.
Responsible for Risk Assessment and safety procedure checks for all new or old experiments dealing with electrode production.
Responsible to communicate and convey all the expected issues or problems in Electrode from Cell Design, so that the team can prepare the parameters accordingly.
Support document control: SOP (Standard Operating procedures, WI (work Instructions), RI (risk assessments), Environmental aspects and all equipment documentation within a given process area together with the documentation team.


Requirements
Education or other qualifications or competences relevant in order to succeed in the job
Qualifications/education/experience 
Fluency in English 
Valuable (but not required) if expertise in battery industry.
