Job Summary
Process & Project Engineering Lund is a department within Tetra Pak Planning and Operations. We sell engineering and deliver projects in Europe Middle East & Africa (EMEA). We work in close cooperation with the local markets.
We are looking for a Process Engineer, who will work on process design in projects. In this role you will be an individual contributor who will create drawings, perform calculations, document process technology and align design/technical specifications with customer and third-party suppliers, in order to support projects with process design. The role requires interaction and collaboration with internal stakeholders, project members and customers in the daily project work. A typical project could be related to a dairy or a cheese factory. Disciplines to cooperate with are Automation-, Electrical-, Utility engineers and project management.
This is a permanent position, and you will be based in Lund, Sweden. The position will require travelling in some periods, and it can then be up to 20% of your time.
What you will do
As a Process Engineer, you will:
Develop technical solutions in pre-projects and implementation projects
Technical discussions with customer and third-party suppliers
Validate/review technical solutions for engineering parts
Design and dimensioning of process equipment and solutions
Act as an ambassador for Tetra Pak
We believe you have
University degree holder in mechanical or chemical engineering or equivalent
A professional with minimum 2 years’ experience from dairy process engineering
A very good command of English, both written and verbal is a must
You have a strong drive for result, an analytic mindset and can find common solutions. You have excellent communication skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships, as the work includes close contacts with customers, suppliers and colleagues. You are used to work in a high paced environment and can structure your work efficiently to deliver accurate and timely results.
