Avesta is the heart of Outokumpu Advanced materials, as the need of process engineers is now increasing here, we are looking for YOU skilled or recently graduated engineer! Don’t miss your chance and join our Technical and Quality Department to work in Hot Rolling, Cold Rolling or Melt Shop.
The role of process engineer is varied and stimulating. You will be working with the whole process line – from idea to production, so every day will be different. And that is especially true since we at Outokumpu continuously strive to improve not only our products and processes, but also the career paths and the professional satisfaction of our employees.

YOUR ROLE
Be responsible for process methods related to reducing costs and time waste, improving efficiency, quality and sustainability of Outokumpu products and processes
Support production in developing and following up KPIs
Analyse data and observations to assemble and present improvements
Be an expert in your process development and lead improvement projects within Avesta
Participate in research on-site and within Outokumpu globally
Develop working methods and standards through our processes including training operators and technicians
Work both strategic and hands-on in the production. All in collaboration you’re your team colleagues and other stakeholders within the company


ABOUT YOU
Master’s degree of engineering focused on metallurgy, material, manufacturing, mechanical, chemical, industrial economics or equivalent
Previous experience working in similar role or industry is advantage
Fluency in Swedish and English (written & verbal) is required
Good computer skills
