Process Engineer

Repligen Sweden is a wholly owned subsidiary of Repligen Corporation (USA), which supplies products and strategic services in the Life Science or Biotechnology pharmaceutical industry. Our facility is located in St: Lars park in Lund where we have modern production and laboratory premises. You'll be part of a cross functional team of 8 highly motivated and collaborative colleagues that ensure the production facility is up and running 24/7. We give support to other departments and implement new equipment and processes and oversee the overall Manufacturing facility processes. This role will be based in Lund Sweden and will report to the Team Manager, Engineering Support.
Responsibilities
As Process Engineer you will be responsible for
Procurement, commissioning and qualification of new equipment
Propose, investigate and run new projects
Work actively with LEAN and continuous improvements
Establish and maintain professional contacts with suppliers
Troubleshooting problems associated with manufacturing processes
Test, modify and optimize equipment and processes
Continual evaluation of equipment and oversight of processes to ensure compliance and optimization with future demands and needs for manufacturing



Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in engineering, science or operations.
5+ years' experience of project management
Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills and the ability to influence leadership
Good and transparent communicator, including solid written, oral and presentation-giving skills in Swedish and English.
Previous experience of working with GMP and/or ISO 9001 is desirable
Good understanding of quality system controls (user needs, design inputs/outputs, verify/validate, etc.)
