Northvolt has an exciting job offer for a Process Engineer to join our Stockholm team.
A Process Engineer is responsible for the planning and organisation of duties within a given process area that includes, but is not limited by, the development of new or improved manufacturing processes, generation of process specifications, execution of strategic actions, productivity and quality metrics, product flow through the factory, and ensuring safety.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Development and optimisation of new and existing manufacturing processes to ensure launch of new products and meet future production demands.
Generate process specifications.
Characterize existing processes, define critical parameters, and establish controls that allow measurement of process capability and monitor existing processes using SPC.
Define process development plan, describing major elements of transition from design to manufacturing.
Execute DOEs to optimise process conditions and improve output.
Identify and evaluate process improvement areas through data analysis and interpretation.
We believe that you have:
Qualifications/education/experience
BSc or MSc degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent
3+ years of relevant work experience within new product and process development.
Familiar with Design of Experiments (DOE), Statistical Process Control (SPC), Design for
Manufacturability & Assembly (DFMEA) and QA troubleshooting tools.
Successful track record of leading process development projects in prototype and production environment.
Experience with evolving products and processes from prototype through production in a fast-growing environment ideally in the Food, Pharma, Paper & Pulp, Semiconductor, Electrochemical or similar industry.
Valuable (but not required) if experience in battery industry.
Specific skills:
Excellent English written and oral skills, Swedish is a plus
