Process Engineer

Gothenburg Factory is cluster lead factory within digitalization. We are the front runner and cooperate closely with global Future Factory and transformation. We create customer and business value by modern and fit for purpose digital solutions. The IT Process team within Gothenburg’s Reliability & Future Factory organization supports the factory with digitalized processes for manufacturing and logistics.

You will be a part of the Gothenburg IT Process team, working within the manufacturing and logistics process areas. Close cooperation to daily business is important, as is the link to central system and process owners. For systems in the logistics area, we have strong local ownership and drive support as well as development to a large extent.

Key responsibilities
As Process Engineer, you will work with support, improvement, upgrades and implementations. You will mainly support the logistic processes in our warehouse management system WASS. This focus will, however, change over time towards other logistics and management areas. Furthermore, you will:
• Perform root cause analysis of support issues to gradually reduce the need for daily local support
• Find new ways of ensuring support for daily operations for the team to shift focus towards improvement tasks and projects
• Help drive the digitalization of logistics and manufacturing processes by improving and deploying solutions and services
• Facilitate and execute training and communication to increase digital skills, collaboration and awareness throughout the organization
• Support the different teams with training and testing at go-lives etc.

Requirements
• University degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Logistics or equivalent
• Experience of deployment and/or operations of IT systems, WASS competence highly beneficial
• Broad technical understanding and experience from digitalized processes and transformation
• Experience of logistics and/or manufacturing processes
• Project Management certification and/or experience from SAP or WASS is considered advantageous
• Experience from lean manufacturing methodologies and/or data management and analytics, machine learning and AI is considered advantageous
