Process Engineer - Elajo Technology Solutions

Who We Are
Elajo Technology Solutions manufactures and delivers industrial solutions for the recirculation of by-products from the production of plant-based foods.
We offer complete process solutions on an industrial scale to handle and recycle waste products from the production of plant-based beverages such as soy, oat, almond, cocoa, rice, as well as by-products from breweries or distilleries.
Our advanced technology, including the reCirculating Food Dryer, transforms these by-products into new food ingredients.


About the position
In the role of process engineer, you will have a significant role in the company's continued development and will be responsible for implementing and developing comprehensive technical solutions for drying plants in the food industry. In addition to the delivery of our unique food drying equipment, the projects also involve the delivery of peripheral equipment such as pumps, instruments, valves, mills, and packaging machines.
The projects have a high technical content and to succeed you should have a genuine analytical skills and interest in innovation and technology. In addition to overall process design, other technical disciplines such as electricity and automation, pipe design and mechanical design are also involved. Your involvement in the project is during the tendering, engineering, and commissioning. More specifically, you will be responsible for process design, mass & energy balance, P&ID, functional description, technical specifications, and other engineering tasks.
The projects are largely carried out abroad and therefore some travel will occur, especially during construction and commissioning and you may need to be on site from a few days to a few weeks at a time.

Experiences & qualifications
Bachelor's or MSc. degree in Mechanical or Energy Engineering or related field.
Process design and process engineering skills.
Knowledge of drying and thermal engineering basic principles.
Experience in process control and analytical skills.
Strong problem-solving abilities.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Experience with process optimization tools is a plus.
Fluent in Swedish and English.
Category B driver's license
