The Job – Engineering the future processes within prototype manufacturing for electrified propulsion units
At Scania’s transmission manufacturing we are in an expansive and exciting phase where we are laying the foundation for Scania's future transmission production. We work with the heart of the eMobility trucks - the production of the driveline.

Your role
As a process engineer, you will have a central role in running product realization projects for Scania’s future eMobility components. Furthermore, you will be part of machine investment projects contributing with your process knowledge to ensure world-class manufacturing. Besides your network throughout the company, you will work with external suppliers and partners, both national and international as well as contacts within the Traton group. Your work will specifically involve working with the high demands and expectations of process quality, process cost, and design for manufacturing.
Your profile
We are looking for a person with a strong technical interest who likes working in a team and desires to continue learning about new technologies. To succeed in the position, you have a Bachelor’s or Masters’s in mechanical engineering or a corresponding work experience. With experience from a previous position as a manufacturing process engineer or equivalent, you know transmission parts, design, and manufacturing processes. You like analyzing complex situations in a structured way and can utilize CAD and drawings to visualize creative solutions.
As the job includes international contacts, English at a professional level is a requirement, and Swedish is a merit.
