Process engineer with programming knowledge

About the position

The daily work includes technical hands-on work on the duo machines, as well as theoretical work with data analysis and statistics. Your main focus will be that the production systems deliver a high performance with good stability. Midsummer is focused on helping its customers achieve success and now needs to expand the group that commissions and optimizes the production systems with an analytical process engineer. You will work in a team that complements each other with different skills where the main goal is to offer our customers help with being able to quickly start up the production of thin film solar cells. Travel is therefore also included in the position.

Main tasks

- Analysis of data from the production of solar cells
- Development and programming of our web-based statistical tool
- Commissioning and optimization of our production systems DUO and UNO


Your profile

- Has a technical civil engineering degree or possesses equivalent knowledge
- Have a high analytical personality that shows in your professional role
- Speaks and writes fluently in both Swedish and English
- Good programming skills


It is also meritorious

- Knowledge of Python, Javascript, Typescript, Mysql, and R
- Knowledge in semiconductor technology, vacuum technology and data analysis
- Experience of working with statistics
