Leadership role in the transfer of the GE Ohmic switch MEMS process to Menlo Microsystems external fabrication partners
Advisor, evaluate and improve on existing processes in manufacturing systems located at the GRC
Develop innovative solutions with partners
Improve process capability and production volume while maintaining and improving quality standards.
Prepare samples for study.
Collect, record, and transcribe data.
Show results in reports.
Develop and implement systems that optimize all phases of production process.
Provide suggestions during incident investigations.
Advise on corrective actions.
Work with equipment designers and manufacturing officers to develop a cost-effective and working production process.
Ensure projects are completed on time.
Ensure financial budgets are followed.
Research and advise on new manufacturing technology.
Develop cost efficient continuous improvement both on the company’s platform technology as well as product specific processes.
Advise on tool alignment decisions and tool alternatives

Overall Purpose of the Role:  
To provide direct guidance in the implementation of the GE Ohmic switch process and porting to the company’s external fabrication site. To continue to provide on-going engineering services to improve process yield and to solve on-going process related problems that effect either reliability or product economics defined by acceptance criteria. Provide guidance and leadership of Menlo Microsystems goals and objects with the fabrication partners.
Key Responsibilities:
 Responsible for evaluating existing processes and configuring manufacturing systems to reduce cost, improve sustainability and develop best practices within the production process.


People Management  
·        Manage, coach and develop a high performing processes that meet agreed objectives and which delivers best practice results, added value and continuous improvements
·        Become Menlo Microsystems process engineering technical ambassador to all fabrication partners
 
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
·    Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic business environment
·    Detail-oriented with strong organization skills
·    Excellent problem solver who can work independently and with the team 
·    Quick learner who takes initiative and assumes responsibility
·    Excellent written and verbal communication skills at all internal levels and with vendor, both domestic and international
·    Minimum of 5 years experience in a process team within a wafer fabrication environment
·    Experience with industry quality tools such as statistical science
Qualifications
·        Engineering Degree; MS  preferred ChemE, ME, MSc
Minimum of 5 years experience in a process organization within the Semiconductor Industry

·        Excellent Computer skills (Excel,Power Point,Word,Project)
·        Ability to thrive in a hands on environment
·        Excellent communication skills including verbal, written and presentation
·        Ability to travel to domestic and international locations as demand requires
·        Travel requirement will exceed 50%
·        Must reside in the NY Albany area
