As a Process Improver, within Purchasing & Supply Management (P&SM), you will execute operational activities to drive efficiency and best practice of purchasing processes & interfaces processes within the region Europe. The scope includes gaining alignment to a common global solution. This job involves to a large extent regional and global communication, internal and to some extent external. You may be placed at any of the Volvo CE Sites in Region Europe. In this role you will direct report to the P&SM Site Manager and in day to day situation work to the Regional Process Improvement Manager. Core Responsibilities: Identify and communicate areas for improvement within the P&SM processes Improve P&SM processes & interfaces processes within region Europe Active input and contribution in the development of a global & regional process improvement road map Implement improvement projects in line with the process improvement road map Active development of systems to support the P&SM processes Development of "best practise" bench mark activities To be recognised as a Six sigma expert Create and maintain process documentation Required Competencies: Proven ability to drive & to work effectively in cross functional and multi - cultural organisation and to manage and influence others Team Player Holistic view and strong knowledge of the processes, primarily P&SM and interface processes Ability to develop and deliver structured technical training, both within class room environment and within the work place Strong communication skills in English, additional language skills plus Minimum 3 years professional experience in P&SM or similar Education: University Degree or equivalent level of experience Six sigma deployment- min. Green belt Location: Eskilstuna, Hallsberg or Braås
