We are looking for a Bioprocess modeling and optimization specialist to join our recently formed team for Business Intelligence and Analysis to provide thought leadership into bioprocess modeling and support strategic decision making in Cytiva. As such you will work across our customers’ entire manufacturing processes and Cytiva´s Bioprocess portfolio to develop and provide insights and recommendations. What you’ll do
You will become the master of Bioprocess modeling within Cytiva and you will establish process models for different molecular formats and processing scenarios.
Develop deep insights into the current and future approaches of biotherapeutic manufacturing.
Shape a process modeling community within Cytiva as well as among peers in the industry.
Review assumptions and hypotheses with pharma engineers to develop process economic models supporting their decision making. This includes interpreting process economy models and reviewing results in a broader context consider factors such as robustness, complexity, capital allocation, time to market, etc.
Support Cytiva’s decision making by providing analysis and scenarios for the future of bioprocessing based on your insights into customer viewpoints on bioprocessing as well as into bioprocess modeling.
Support the commercial teams to elevate their process modeling capabilities.



Who you are
You have an university degree within Biotechnology, PhD. would be an advantage
You possess insights into biotechnology and biopharmaceutical production and have experience of process modeling biopharmaceutical manufacturing processes.
Ability to envision and simulate Cytiva’s technology in customer’s current and/or future biopharmaceutical processes.
Experience of direct customer interaction at technological level and ability to anticipate customer needs.
You have a strong interest and capability to learn about technology and you are a data storyteller with ability to clearly and concisely communicate complex analytical insights
