Product Development Centre (PDC) in Lund is a highly flexible pilot facility. It enables food producers to develop new food products and evaluate best processing practice. Through trials in pilot scale, food companies find out the best recipes and process supported by Tetra Pak knowledge. In our well-equipped laboratories, food products are evaluated during trials providing key data for design of processing lines and units.


The Dairy, Beverage and Prepared Food categories are our home ground, but we also work with products like processed cheese, hummus, bean pastes and ice-cream mix etc. Our wide range of processing equipment is selected and combined to an optimal configuration in each trial in order to mimic a commercial sized line.


As a Process Specialist, you will be one in a team of 10 people, creating a positive atmosphere in the plant, meeting customers from all over the world and helping them to test and run their products in our facilities, today in a format as Travel-free trials. You will be handling high expectations and meeting customers every second day discussing both practical and theoretical food processing related topics.


This position is based in Lund, Sweden.

What you will do
Prepare line and equipment for trials.
Make trial and record data.
Participate in development projects.
Represent Tetra Pak in a professional manner.
Within appointed areas be responsible for maintenance and take on a specialist role.
Occasionally assist in field trials with expertise.
Assist with practical expertise in on site trouble shooting.
Share knowledge with other PDC’s.

Who you are
We believe you have a strong interest in working together with food producing customers, ability to collaborate using a flexible and positive attitude focusing on finding solutions instead of roadblocks. You are curious in learning more about how to process different kinds of food. You are comfortable in discussing food processing from a practical standpoint.
The successful candidate will need to work pro-actively, be accurate and enjoy taking responsibility. As our customers will be from all corners of the world; fluency in written and spoken English is mandatory. You have a practical work experience in food production from the industry. Previous field experience, packaging and/or processing, within commissioning or service is highly merited. You may have an educational background within food technology or mechanical engineering.
