Process Utilities Engineering Manager

We are looking for an experienced Process Utilities Engineering Manager to join us in our mission to contribute to a greener future. The role is a part of our passionate Process Utilities engineering team based in Skellefteå. By joining us, you will be a key player in establishing/ramping up Northvolt ETT and contribute to building one of the first large scale European battery factories.
About the job
You will be responsible for the team of engineers that design process utilities for Northvolt Ett, including resource management and supervision of engineering design. The engineering spans from detailed design to commissioning. The role requires a lot of collaboration with all parts of the factory to assess consumption and understand the complete scope of generation and distribution of process utilities.
You will be reporting to the core team process utilities manager and are expected to contribute to the overall standards and work process for the engineering area.
About the team
The Team for Process Utilities engineering is growing and consist today of 4 engineers that work in the Skellefteå project. The team members all have individual areas within process utilities but with lots of overlap and support within the team.
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Process design of production and distribution of process utilities (compressed air, gases, steam, process wastewater and deionized water).
Lead the team of engineers and support them in all aspects of the design.
Drive continuous improvement in process design, costs savings, quality and resource utilization. Interface with equipment and installation contractors.
Process responsibility for control strategy and commissioning of process utilities.

Skills & Requirements


We believe that you have :
A degree in Mechanical, Chemical engineering MSc or similar.
10+ years working experience in within a process manufacturing industry (oil and gas, petrochemical, pharmaceutical , power plant, food industry, paper and pulp industries).
Experience with design and or operation of process utilities systems.
Excellent English written and oral skills.
