Role Managing all process development research that is carried out in the Hardening lines to deliver the project aims within the required timescale and budget. Providing an expert internal consultancy service to other departments on process issues related to heat treatment. Providing an expert continuous improvement service to allow the business to improve the efficiency of the heat treatment processes, having a positive effect on profitability, quality and service. Assisting with the investigation of the root causes of infernal and external non-conformances . Development of corrective actions to overcome internal and external non-conformances. Contribute to the future investment strategy with knowledge of the current state of the art in heat treatment. Document the fundamentals of heat treatment to help in the training of other staff. Requirements A Bachelors Degree in an appropriate branch of Engineering and/or at least 3 years practical experience in a heat treatment environment, preferably continuous heat treatment of flat products A good comprehensive knowledge of the principles of hardening and annealing Good project and time management skills Ability to write technical reports in both Swedish and English Knowledge of continuous improvement techniques
