Role Summary/Purpose:

GE Healthcare Bioprocess provides products and complete solutions to Pharma Industry and Academic research. To support our customers and to adapt to their specific need GE Healthcare has over the past 5-10 years introduced configuration tools to enable customization. Since this is a growing area, encompassing more products and solution offerings, we are searching for a Product Manger to take ownership the current configuration tool.

Essential Responsibilities:

Considering the expansion of the area the responsibility is not exclusively to manage the current tool, but also to set the strategy as well as drive execution of short term tactical plans and priorities.

The position includes life cycle management of the product configurator, comprising planning of regular maintenance and updates, setting the strategy and defining the roadmap which products to further include in the configurator. The candidate will also be responsible to align the plans, both from a strategic point of view as well as technically and tactically with BioProcess Upstream. The main interactions for the role will be with the Product Managers & Business Leaders for Bioprocess Downstream, CTO, R&D, Enterprise, external consultants for development and Supply chain. Customers are primarily internal, i.e. the users are sales (sales specialists, account managers) and they are important stakeholders for input on desired features and design of the configurator.

Qualifications/Requirements:

The candidate has a background from Life Science, Biotech and/or Pharma Industry, or alternatively experience from other industries working with product configuration. Strong business sense and interest in the commercial aspects are essential components to be successful in this role. He or she has to have great sense of urgency, having personal drive, ambition and commitment to drive actions and operational follow-up. The applicant should be structured, driven and have ability to prioritize in a complex environment in combination with a positive and team oriented attitude. Excellent communication skills in English and Swedish is required.
