About the position
Perido is looking for a Procurement Assistant for our client, an independent and important agency of the European Union. The position is placed at their beautiful office nicely located in Solna. At the moment you are allowed to work from home, but also allowed to work at the office under certain safety conditions.
Your daily tasks
In this assignment you will take on a broad and exciting role that offers an ever-changing workday. You will work closely with a specific procurement programme within the agency where you will:
· Provide general administrative and clerical assistance and support the Procurement Section’s processes and work flows.
· Administer correspondence and notifications to tenderers and contractors.
· Manage electronic and paper document; scan and archive documents according to the procurement archiving policy.
· Respond to queries and requests with a high level of service attitude, tact, discretion and confidentiality.
· Perform any other task assigned by the supervisor.
Your qualifications
To be successful in this role you need the ability to take initiative as well as a high level of discretion and ability to handle confidential matters. You have a high level of service orientation and experience in organizing work and prioritizing accordingly. Furthermore we believe that you enjoy teamwork and to communicate with team members, colleagues and external resources.

Requirements
· Education at university level, or other relevant post-secondary education and relevant professional experience
· Proven experience in a financial/ administrative/ contracting environment
· Experience and knowledge linked to the relevant aforementioned tasks
· Good exposure and understanding of administrative processes and systems, ideally in the area of procurement
· Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office, in particular Microsoft Excel
· Excellent command of English; spoken and written.
Contract type and hours
Full time. Start as soon as possible, end date December 31 with possible extension.
