Cluster Engagement Associate, Commercial Procurement, Northern Europe
The Cluster Engagement Associate will be part of a team supporting approximately $450 million in spend, mainly in Marketing and Sales categories but also Business Services for Johnson & Johnson Companies. The role will support the Cluster Engagement Lead Commercial Procurement, Northern Europe in both managing key business partner/stakeholder relationships within the Northern Europe Cluster as well as managing specific category spends and strategy implementation and will require strong collaboration with business stakeholders, suppliers and the procurement community.
This individual will:
Support the Northern Europe Cluster country stakeholders across multiple levels of seniority and complexity working to understand business needs and objectives and be the first port of call for the wider business community in Marketing & Sales and Business Services categories.
Co-develop the implementation of category initiatives to support the Marketing and Sales teams in the different sectors such as Consumer, Pharma and Medical Devices as well as across all sector initiatives within J&J Northern Cluster consisting of UK, Ireland and Nordics (Denmark, Finland, Sweden & Norway & Iceland)
Deliver category strategy initiatives across key categories working in liaison with regional and global category leaders alongside the business
To develop end-to-end category leadership, the Cluster will provide country cluster insights to the Global and Regional Category team such as: business insights, business needs and priorities as well as identify/develop and share innovative sourcing opportunities.
The Cluster Engagement Associate’s scopes of responsibilities include:
Assist in driving the Procurement vision for, with and through the stakeholder community
Support category strategy implementation in the cluster - in particular marketing categories - that will effectively meet the long range requirements of the business partners and deliver maximum value for J&J
Interface directly with supplier management to assure alignment of JNJ’s objectives are met, including quality, reliability, innovation, social impact and cost
Partners with the Cluster Engagement Lead to deliver annual value improvements and drives competitive advantage.
Deliver on financial, service, reliability, quality, innovation, social impact and growth commitments
Develop supplier relationships with cluster suppliers to include data review and analysis, performance management and development and improvement of end to end value, and bring innovation to the business
Work within the sourcing operating model across multiple touchpoints including Global Services, Supplier Contracting Services, Local Legal and other stakeholders
Escalate issues that may impact the Global Procurement organization.

Able to prioritize requests, and propose effective cost/customer service alternatives when necessary
Level of proficiency with core Procurement skills (e.g., supplier management and performance, supply market analysis, Category Management, Procurement Excellence, etc.)
