Procurement Lead

ValueOne is recruiting an experienced Procurement Lead and skilled negotiator for our customer Sever Pharma Solutions in Malmö. Sever Pharma Solutions is facing an exciting journey of change within Supply Chain. They are now looking for a results orientated individual to drive their procurement transformation towards a more efficient and robust process, from supplier to customer.

Sever Pharma Solutions is located in Malmö, where we develop and manufacture pharmaceuticals on contract. For nearly 50 years, we have delivered according to the international requirements placed on pharmaceutical companies. Our customers range from large global to smaller local pharmaceutical companies. The role

As Procurement Lead you have the overall responsibility for direct materials, such as API’s & Excipients, consumption materials for production, and indirect purchases in the form of transport, services, work clothes etc. The role also involves responsibility for the management of all external service contracts.

The work requires close collaboration with suppliers and internal stakeholders such as Production, Logistics, R&D and Quality. Some travel will be required.

You will be part of the Supply Chain Group and report to the Supply Chain Director.




Main tasks:

Develop and implement strategies for category-driven purchasing work.
Drive initiatives for cost savings and improvement work.
Negotiate and sign agreements with suppliers.
Generate contracts and review contracts.
Continuously develop the supplier base, i.e. identify, evaluate and qualify new suppliers, as well as revise and develop existing suppliers.
Monitor the supplier market to find new opportunities.

Experience and competencies

The role as Procurement Lead requires a relevant university education in Business, Engineering, Science or Supply Chain Management, or equivalent and proven experience from sourcing and contract writing. Additionally, the role demands proficiency in both direct and indirect purchasing. Knowledge from procurement of technical product equipment is advantageous, and it is preferable if you have experience from a regulatory controlled business, corresponding to GMP, that puts high demands on quality.

The person we are looking for must be a skilled negotiator with a track record of successful negotiations and a good understanding of the supply chain as a whole. We expect you to be fluent in English, both verbally and written.

Your personality is characterized by good stakeholder management, a cooperative approach, structure and quality orientation. You are used to working independently. Developing existing working methods and processes is what gets your engine going and you thrive in a dynamic work environment. Furthermore, you are business oriented and value long-term partnerships over quick deals.
