We are now looking for a Procurement & Logistics Specialist to our team in Västerås. You will be part of a small local team with Buyers, P&L Specialists, Operation Schedulers and Inventory Managers. Additionally, you will work together with a global team in different improvement projects and initiatives.
In this role you will have a lot of opportunities to develop both the business and you as a professional within Supply Chain Management.
This position reports to Head of SCM Planning & Fulfillment.
Your responsibilities
Responsible for designing and implementing plans for sourcing to reach the business targets.
Planning, improving and following up supplier performance as well as qualifying new suppliers and negotiating contracts.
Applying and implementing ABB P&L standards, tools and processes in the area of responsibility to secure quality, delivery, cost and sustainability.
Supporting our Production and Production Engineering Team in the investment processes of new machinery equipment, in terms of supplier selection, negotiation contracts and service agreements.
Although our work model is flexible, a good portion of working time is at the office to be able to support the factory and colleagues F2F.
Working together in a global team of colleagues within P&L in different improvement projects and initiatives.

Your background
To succeed in this role, you hold a university degree (Bachelor or Master) preferably within Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or Economics with at least 2-5 years' proven experience/skills in similar roles.
We are looking for personalities who are self-confident, driven, customer focused and with the attitude that everything is achievable in a team.
Good communication skills and problem-solving abilities are success enablers in this role.
Fluency in English and Swedish is mandatory, written and spoken alike.
Willingness to travel to suppliers mostly in Sweden and EU.
