Procurement & Logistics Specialist for our client in Västerås

We are looking for an experienced Procurement & Logistics Specialist. In this exciting position you will have the following responsibilities:

- Make sure that the operations continue smoothly with a reliable supply chain by managing risks and costs, and meeting the needs of the clients in Sweden.
- Search for the most competitive source of materials by using our client's standardized tools for obtaining quotes.
- Establish contracts and negotiate with suppliers on a yearly basis or for purchases related to specific projects.
- Collaborate with engineering, project management, and sales teams to enhance value, promote ongoing improvement, and fulfill customer satisfaction.
- Implement strategic sourcing methods and overseeing the management of the supply base for assigned tasks.
- Staying informed about current market and industry trends related to your specific field and effectively communicating how these trends could affect the business.
- Create and manage procedures linked to procurement.

Requirements

We would like you to fulfill the following requirements:

- Education in Logistics, Procurement, or Supply Chain Management.
- An individual who prioritizes customer satisfaction and is motivated to work independently or as part of a team.
- Possesses excellent analytical, logical thinking, problem-solving, and negotiation abilities.
- Proficient in both written and verbal communication in English and Swedish.
- Experience in SAP and SCM.
