Procurement Manager

Take the opportunity to join the Procurement team at Saab Surveillance! We are looking for a communicative and business driven leader for the position as Manager leading a team of experts in Strategic and Operative procurement.



Your role

As Manager within Category Procurement Surveillance, you are a line Manager for one of the teams consisting of Strategic and Operative Buyers within a certain product category. We are now looking for a manager to be responsible for the category PCB (Printed Circuit Boards) and components.



The responsibility includes:

* Creating high performing teams that work efficient cross Saab sites to gain highest possible synergies
* Commercial responsibility for all supplier agreements
* Quality, delivery and cost performance from the suppliers
* Increased Agreement coverage and implementation of agreements in all purchasing orders
* Establishing supplier relationships with regular Business Review Meetings with key suppliers
* Operational development of processes, methods and tools together with Procurement Process owner and driver.
* Securing business compliance towards internal and external business requirement



Your profile

By driving business performance and improvements in the Procurement process, you play a central role in contributing to Surveillance financial targets. You strive for high service level towards internal stakeholders, always with high set of standards and business orientation. The role includes travelling on a regular basis to Saab sites as well as suppliers.



To be successful in this role you are a communicative and business driven leader, with high engagement and networking skills to establish cross-functional networks spread between all Saab Surveillance sites. You have experience from managerial positions within positions within procurement or you have experience from strategic sourcing roles and is eager to develop your leadership skills.

You are fluent in both English and Swedish.



This position requires that you pass a security vetting based on the current regulations around/of security protection. For positions requiring security clearance additional obligations on citizenship may apply.

The Business Area Surveillance provides efficient solutions for safety and security, for surveillance and decision support, and for threat detection and protection. The portfolio covers airborne, ground-based and Naval Radar, Electronic Warfare, Cyber Security, Combat Systems and C4I Solutions.



Procurement plays a central role in driving operational excellence for Surveillance. Procurement is part of the Operational Excellence function within Surveillance. You will be part of the Management team within Category Procurement, reporting to Director Category Procurement.

Location: Järfälla, but you will have personell also in Gothenburg.
